It's not rocket science, people wanted a more zero to hero style progression, not some contrived Xp system, but alas.Īnd yeah, as an actual sim racer? It stumbles immediately - people who build rigs and play sims for hours every day are mainly on PC. The whole "ooh you form a deeper connection with your car" explanation is basically something that someone who is completely out of touch with playing games would say. Like, T10's idea of "more meaningful progression" was to create a car leveling system that essentially makes you less likely to want to try out new cars. And yet, this is the most disconnected T10 has ever been from its fanbase. For FM8, it was claimed by Chris Esaki, multiple times that they'll be taking "community feedback" into consideration while making the game. this whole design decision is just utterly bizarre.Ĭore fans have been begging for Fujimi Kaido to be added again for over 10 years. Quali makes sense in any track racer, even if they're more arcadey, so. What? Practice makes sense in SERIOUS sim racers or games like F1. Kinda ridiculous when compared to Dubai, Alps, Prague, Brazil, etc. They didn't even add a spectacular fantasy track this time! We got a fictional racetrack that looks like pretty much any other racetrack ever. There is no fun events anymore to break up the racing. The career mode is so anemic it really might as well have been generated by an AI. It got ingame events added even after its got delisted.įor 8, T10 has seemingly wanted to position the game as more "serious" to get a slice of the enthusiast sim community that's gotten real strong the past few years.īut in the end they put out the game that is not actually serious enough to be entertained by people who primarily play games like iracing, rfactor, assetto corsa and its simply not appealing enough for the more casual base because they neutered all the "fun" out of the game. FM7 was still charting well and often popped up in the most played lists years after its release. Note: don’t let your child play story or horror games, and Make sure your kid is smart enough not to play bad looking games.I think it's more that FM has an identity crisis. Before I end this review, I just wanna say a few games you child can get started with: Also you may notice something called robux, and this is basically an in-game curreńcy that lets you get game passes for games and make your in game character, the downfall with this is the fact that you buy Robux with real money and this could lead to your child spending tons of money just for an avatar. Roblox games can also have groups that are basically where the owner can announce updates and people can talk to each other like the chat, and I would recommend not letting your child visit these in game groups, because people can scam and say you get free moneÿ for clicking a virus. And don’t let your child play random games just because it says nine plus or all ages, because they can have unrealistic blood and sometimes violence, so always make sure the game isn’t bad by clicking on the game scrolling through the description until you see the age rating and what is in the game. I would also recommend going to the parental controls and making it so your child can only play games Nine and older because you probably don’t want your child playing 13 plus games. This is because chat can expose people to profanity (if someone bypasses it) and Rude people, so definitely make sure to turn it off. Simply press the Cog on the top right of your screen and click settings, then go to Privacy and click “who can chat with me?” And turn it to no one. First, you have to create an account, basically just put in your Emáil and create a Username and password and then you can Jump In! You will be greeted with THOUSANDS of user generated experiences and before you let your child dig in, you have to visit the settings first. ROBLOX is lots of things like Exploration, combat, parkour, RolePlay, and SO much more! Now allow me to explain how ROBLOX is like. But the thing is, it’s so creative to the fact that people can make some pretty horrible stuff on it, for example people have made games with EXTREME violence and scary imagery, but before you stop reading this and scream at your child for even asking there is actually ways to avoid the bad and enjoy the good stuff cause after all, it’s not a video game. ROBLOX is a PlatForm about exploration creativity and imagination. This review is not by an adult but please take your time to read it… seriously.
